HQ friend Jeff Montgomery has been attending R.E.M. album release listening parties since the first one for Automatic For The People back in 1992. Since 2004, he’s been involved with every listening party, helping to organize & put them on, in addition to emceeing the live auction events, among the many other tasks associated with the parties. Jeff spoke to Flagpole about #Automatic25, the upcoming listening party for the 25th Anniversary reissue of R.E.M.’s landmark album, Automatic For The People.
