It’s the circular piano piece that inspired Michael to write some of the most beautiful lyrics that he’s ever written. It really touched a chord with a lot of people. I have played it with my friend Robert McDuffie and the students at the McDuffie Center for Strings at Mercer

There’s a fairly autobiographical narrative to this one, and the part about the windshield really happened. that’s exactly how i saw it, i’m pretty sure it was a pickup truck. i know jem cohen loves that line, and he made the most incredible film as a video for this song.
