Athens GA: Registration is open for the 2022 Vic Chesnutt Songwriter Seminar and Workshop Series named in honor of the late great brilliant singer-songwriter from Athens. The opening seminar is scheduled for Thursday, January 13th on Zoom at 7PM Eastern and features participants Caroline Aiken, Ben de la Cour, Mariah Parker, and Tomi Martin & Trina Meade as well as Special Guests Emily Saliers and Amy Ray of the Indigo Girls. And the panel will be moderated by REMHQ’s Bertis Downs.
The seminar will share “information and inspiration” on what it’s like to be a songwriter, either as a vocation or avocation, including topics such as the business of songwriting, finding ideas, honing the craft, and more. Registrants will hear from these accomplished artists about their musical wisdom and songwriting tips. Attendees may also submit questions for the presenters as well.
