A pre-release viewing party for the upcoming release of REMTV, the 6-DVD Box Set (including the band’s live performances, award show highlights, and television appearances, as well as a new documentary about the band and network’s mutual history) will be held on Sunday, November 23 at Ciné in downtown Athens, Georgia. There will be a screening of R.E.M. BY MTV a new R.E.M. documentary of archival material – and other footage at the event.

All proceeds from the pre-release viewing party will benefit Community Connection of Northeast Georgia and Family Connection-Communities In Schools of Athens.
There will be a reception in Ciné Lab throughout the evening–a gathering of old and new friends and fans from near and far.
Tickets for raffles of REMTV-related packages and other one-of-a-kind R.E.M. memorabilia will be available at the event, along with a limited edition REMTV t-shirt.
