Blue Leach, R.E.M.’s acclaimed tour video director, has taken home the prestigious Video Director of the Year award at the 2009 Total Production International Awards for his work on the R.E.M. ACCELERATE tour. Blue received the award Tuesday night in London, and, we couldn’t be happier for him. In a conversation with HQ earlier today, he expressed his excitement in having won the award: “I’m stoked as they say and all credit to all involved.” Congratulations Blue!
