The Helping Haiti charity single for “Everybody Hurts,” which premiered on British breakfast shows this morning, will be available for digital download on February 7th and in stores on February 8th (UK only). The song features vocal performances by twenty-one different artists including Jon Bon Jovi, Rod Stewart, Mariah Carey, Cheryl Cole, Susan Boyle, Miley Cyrus, and Kylie Minogue. Rod Stewart said, “I can’t think of a more fitting song than ‘Everybody Hurts’ to convey the unimaginable tragedy that is Haiti. I hope the record sales raise a lot of money because the country certainly needs it.”
