Murmurs.com main man Ethan Kaplan has decided to “unplug” his R.E.M. community site after 18 years of maintaining the best “unofficial” site dedicated to all-things R.E.M. around. In a post at his personal website, Ethan looks back at what motivated him to start the site in the beginning and, here recently, the reason for his decision to shut it down.
