Saturday night’s concert at Atlanta’s Lakewood Amphitheatre will be the finale on the North American leg of R.E.M.’s world tour in support of ACCELERATE which began May 23rd in Vancouver. Through New York City, R.E.M. has played a total of fifteen dates with support each night from Modest Mouse and The National.

After the Atlanta show, the band takes a quick break and then resumes touring in Amsterdam on July 2nd. The European tour continues on through October 1st.
