Portland’s Eyelids have got a new “dubble” live LP (featuring performances by Peter Buck & Scott McCaughey) available to pre-order starting today.
Eyelids maestro Chris Slusarenko reports it’s a “massive 23 track – 2LP set pressed on clear vinyl with black, yellow, red and blue SMOKEY SWIRLS along with an 11×22 poster with 36 of the 128 unique covers drawn by Eyelids’ John Moen for the original 12 track digital release.”
Chris continues, “LP 1 is all Eyelids and LP 2 includes covers of The Jam, X, The Modern Lovers, Camper Van Beethoven, Lou Reed and Hedwig! Also features performances by Peter Buck & Scott McCaughey (R.E.M., Minus 5), John Cameron Mitchell (Hedwig & The Angry Inch); Jay Gonzalez (Drive-By Truckers); Larry Beckett; Victor Krummenacher & Jonathan Segel (Camper Van Beethoven) and more!!!”
