“Recently Scott McCaughey and I did a recording session for Steve Barton’s new record. I met Steve and Dave Scheff in 1982, I think. They were in the band Translator. We did a few shows with them and the Gang of Four that year. The session was produced by Steve Berlin. I met him in 1982 also. He was playing sax with the Plugz, a cool Los Angeles punk band. We have been playing together on and off ever since. And I met Scott in 1984. It’s kinda amazing to think how much history there is between us. The session was engineered by Raymond Richards at his studio in Portland.” – Peter
