The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra has announced the world premiere of R.E.M. Explored. This symphonic event opens with selections from the band’s legendary playlist, newly reimagined for orchestra, and concludes with Mike performing his eponymous Concerto for Violin, Rock Band and Orchestra alongside Grammy-nominated violinist Robert McDuffie. The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra will be led by Conductor Sarah Hicks with two performances on Friday, September 30 and Saturday, October 1 at Atlanta Symphony Hall. Tickets will become available this Friday, June 10th at 10:00 AM EST at Ticketmaster.com.
