“For our very first year, we were in a (Ford) LTD pulling a Jartran trailer. Then we bought a ’73 or ’74 Dodge van, and then in probably ’82 or ’83 we upgraded to a new Dodge Ram van. We customized it. It had a little cage in the back for the equipment, some nice captain’s chairs and a comfortable way that we could actually sleep if we needed to.
