Our friends in The Band Ends are excited to share some news about the premiere of their NPR Tiny Desk Concert (featuring our very own Bill Berry on drums and 12-string acoustic guitar!) which will air this Friday March 24th.
The 4-song performance includes special guest Jay Gonzalez (Drive-By Truckers, guitar & mandolin), John Neff (Drive-By Truckers & Bloodkin, pedal steel guitar), Eddie Glikin (percussion), Anne Domizi (vocals), Owen Lange (A.D. Blanco, Mellotron & percussion), and Bennett Evans (A.D. Blanco, electric sitar guitar).
The performance was shot at Chase Park Transduction in Athens, GA, directed by Marc Pilvinsky, and recorded by producer David Barbe and Henry Barbe. It features numerous beautiful paintings by local artists that were generously loaned to the project and showcase the vibrant arts scene in Athens, GA.
