The Baseball Project embarks on a five-week tour starting this Thursday July 10 with opening night in Birmingham at the Sirote Theatre. Scott, Steve, Linda, and Mike Mills will be joined by a lot of friends on the road this time out including the Minus 5 (at various times including Mike Giblin, Joe Adragna, Peter Buck), the Split Squad (with Clem Burke, Keith Streng and Eddie Munoz), and Fenway organist Josh Kantor who will play in all the above bands, as Scott says, “whenever the Red Sox are on the road and he can join us.”
And although the Baseball Project will not tour the west coast this time out, Scott says not to worry, as they will be out that way in September.
