Unfortunately, due to a severe back ailment, Peter has been temporarily sidelined and will miss The Baseball Project’s upcoming tour of the USA scheduled to run from August 25th-September 5th. According to The Baseball Project’s Scott McCaughey, “Our fantastic bassist and 12-string guitarist, Peter Buck has been struck down with a severe back ailment, and considering he has never missed ONE SHOW in 31 YEARS, that should tell you something about his condition, and how distraught he is to be unable to do these shows.” Scott added, however, in the spirit of The Baseball Project’s “full-on commitment to rock every night,” that he and band mates Steve Wynn and Linda Pitmon, along with Peter’s blessing, “felt that we should play the shows regardless, because that is what we do…”
