Earlier this year we released a limited quantity of R.E.M. Unplugged 1991/2001, The Complete Sessions on vinyl for Record Store Day, an event we’ve loved being a part of the last few years. The response to the Unplugged vinyl was absolutely overwhelming from those who were able to get a copy. So, by popular demand, we’ve made arrangements for two separate vinyl releases this September: MTV Unplugged 1991 and MTV Unplugged 2001. Each vinyl release will feature the entire performance, including the additional songs not aired on the original broadcast. Release dates for MTV Unplugged 1991 and MTV Unplugged 2001 will be September 1st for international stores and September 2nd for those in North America.
