UPDATE: Owing to technical problems in post production, Dave Fanningâs interview with R.E.M. scheduled for broadcast tonight on RTE Radio 1(Ireland) and www.rte.ie/radio1/drivetime has had to be deferred. In its place tonight at 1900hrs (Irish Time GMT +1) archive of previous interviews will be broadcast.
The full interview as recorded today (Friday 29 June) will now be broadcast on Monday 01 July at 1900hrs (Irish Time GMT+1), will be streamed live on the web at www.rte.ie/radio1/drivetime and will also be available as a podcast.

Venerable Irish radio music host Dave Fanning will be joined in the RTE Radio 1 studios by Peter Buck and Mike Mills tonight at 7PM (Irish Time; 2pm USA ET). The three will discuss the band’s upcoming working rehearsals at the Olympia Theatre in Dublin in addition to spinning a few songs.
