Earlier this week, the video for “Mine Smell Like Honey,” filmed and directed by Dominic DeJoseph, premiered at spinner.com. The film was shot in Berlin at Hansa Studios where the band recorded a portion of their new record; Michael had this to say about it:
everyone will have seen, or will soon see our first film for COLLAPSE INTO NOW , directed by DOMINIC DEJOSEPH, for the song MINE SMELL LIKE HONEY. it was shot last summer in Berlin at Hansa Studio, in the stairwell that connects the recording studio to the big room several flights down. it was boiling hot and dusty as hell, and we had a great time doing it. thanks to everyone and especially to Dominic!
Also, a muscular, in-studio video (filmed at Hansa as well) of Discoverer, the lead track on COLLAPSE INTO NOW, made its debut at Rollingstone.com yesterday. Watch the video here.

THE BASEBALL PROJECT RELEASES NEW RECORD
Baseball’s sardonic rock chroniclers, The Baseball Project are back with Volume 2: High and Inside, an even more detailed look at the stories behind the stories of America’s Favorite Pastime.

COLLAPSE INTO NOW LISTENING PARTY IN ATHENS MARCH 7TH
On Monday night, March 7th, a special Pre-Release Listening Party for COLLAPSE INTO NOW will be held at the 40 Watt Club on Washington Street in downtown Athens. The night will feature a preview of the entire album, both live and silent auctions (as well as a raffle), and a screening of previously unreleased footage filmed in conjunction with the recording of the album.
