PETER BUCK: IN THE NEWS

In honor of Peter’s birthday earlier this week on December 6th, we’ve posted the great photo above of him in Buck Snort, TN. Happy belated birthday Peter!

Speaking of Peter, we’re approximately a month away from the Todos Santos Music Festival in Mexico where Peter will be playing with a whole host of bands. Festival dates are January 5-21, 2012, and proceeds will benefit the Palapa Society. Peter will be playing with a total of three different bands at various times during the two and half week event.:

R.E.M. TRIBUTE IN HARRISBURG TO RAISE FUNDS FOR ANIMAL WELFARE

The Susan Giblin Foundation for Animal Wellness and Welfare will be presenting a tribute to the Music of R.E.M. on Saturday, December 17th at 8:00PM at the Harrisburg Midtown Arts Center in Harrisburg, PA. Musical guests include The Jellybricks, Wayne Supergenius, Loretta Bilieux and the Dive Bar Pretties, as well as Carnival of Sorts who will be playing Murmur in its entirety.
