If you happen to be in Athens this weekend, the Junior League of Athens is hosting their third annual Will Rock 4 Food benefit to benefit the Food Bank of Northeast Georgia this Saturday, May 7, 2011, at Terrapin Brewing. This year brings the addition of a food festival from some of the area’s most delicious restaurants. Bring your blankets and tailgating chairs so you can relax on the lawn and enjoy the music and pretty weather. You can find out more at willrock4food.org

LIFES RICH PAGEANT REISSUE IN THE NEWS:

As we reported on Tuesday, the band has teamed with Capitol/I.R.S. for the July 12 release of an expanded 25th Anniversary 2CD and digital edition of Lifes Rich Pageant. The new edition features the digitally remastered original album, plus 19 previously unreleased demo recordings cut prior to the album’s studio sessions.
