The Grand Opera House in Macon, Georgia is the scene this weekend for the special presentation of both A Night of Georgia Music as well as the Concerto for Violin, Rock Band and String Orchestra by Mike Mills.
The dress rehearsal last night had every bit of feel of a real concert. All those classic tunes from throughout the ages sounded better than ever as Mike Mills, Bobby McDuffie and Chuck Leavell, along with the rock band and Mercer University Strings student musicians, worked their magic. Those lucky enough to have a ticket for tonight are in for a real treat!
