(APRIL 5TH)–Well, this is the 32nd anniversary of the band and the first one of those since the disbandment back in September. April 5th is always a special day to a lot of people marking that first “birthday party at the church” that is the stuff of legend. It seems appropriate to link a few of the real good pieces written on R.E.M. in the past few months– no way to do them all justice and some will be omitted but hey, that’s what the Comments section on FB are for right!?
