Michael, along with his partner Jim McKay of C-HundredFilm Corp, are the Executive Producers of “Johnny Berlin,” adocumentary-comedy about a train porter who is also a
struggling writer, compulsive gambler and all-around ramblin’ man.
The director of the film is long-time R.E.M. collaborator, Dominic DeJoseph, who directed the music video for “Bittersweet Me” (which also stars Jon Hyrns, AKA Johnny Berlin) and has collaborated on several documentaries about the band over the years.
The film had it’s premiere at the SILVERDOCS documentary film festival and has played throughout the festival circuit over the past year and a half, including the Revelation Perth film festival in Australia and Cinerail in France.
