R.E.M is in London today for a show at the Apollo Theatre. Support will be from Athens’ band Now it’s Overhead. Tonight’s show will mark the first in a string of five UK concerts. R.E.M. will play Sheffield, Glasgow, Birmingham, and Belfast, Northern Ireland.
ELECTRON BLUE
Electron Blue is set to be released as the third single from Around the Sun. We’ve gotten reports that the song has been receiving a lot of airplay in the UK in the last couple of weeks. The band has also made a video for Electron Blue, coincidentally enough with Blue Leach, video mastermind from the UK himself. The video is made from screen shots of live performances from the band’s current tour–looks very cool. Be sure to look for it in your area.
