The American Buffalo is an iconic creature. Historically, our relationship to this noble beast is both contradictory and bizarre. Like the Bald Eagle, its symbolic status to the American psyche approaches the near-mystical. Palladium is a precious metal, often used in conjunction with gold, and commonly used in catalytic converters, electronics including computers and mobile phones, technology used for fuel cells, and groundwater treatment.
Last summer Michael’s first-ever sculpture show, with bronze replicas of cameras and cassettes, premiered in NYC at the Rogan store on the Bowery.
