Many of the ACP festival exhibitions actually opened at local galleries this month, but the bulk of the events are happening in October, including marquee speaker Michael Stipe. The REM frontman will discuss his cross-medium work that incorporates photography, video, soundscape and sculpture and his latest book “Our Interference Times.” Stipe will speak Oct. 2, 7 p.m. at SCADShow in Midtown.”
