Steve Wynn reports from his recent recording sessions in Athens:
“And that’s a wrap. 4 days, 13 songs and a great group of friends able to exhale and celebrate a mighty fine session. The result? My first proper solo album in 17 years, hopefully coming out in the first half of next year. Thanks to David Barbe for working the knobs at his Chase Park Transduction studio and to Bill Berry for dropping by at the end to add some percussion on a couple of songs. And what a band!—Jay Gonzalez, Scott McCaughey, Linda Pitmon, Mike Mills and of course Peter Buck, who co-wrote all of the songs with me. Can’t wait for you all to hear it.”
