We’re excited to share the news that The Simpsons’ episode “Homer? A Cracker Bro?” (the season 37 finale) has been nominated for an Emmy Award in the Outstanding Animated Program category. This is the episode in which Michael guest-starred as himself to sing a parody of “Everybody Hurts” called “Everybody Kirks”. After recording the song (see photo two), Michael said, “I was super flattered to be invited back into The Simpsons universe, and particularly with this grand message of great hope.” The 2026 Creative Arts Emmy Awards will take place on September 5th and 6th in Los Angeles.
