Jeff Calder of The Swimming Pool Q’s interviews the poet Coleman Barks this Sunday August 9 at 8 PM on Georgia Public Broadcasting’s literary show Cover-to-Cover (including WUGA in Athens and other stations statewide). Barks is the internationally renowned translator of the Sufi poet Rumi. It’s a special one-hour version of Cover-to-Cover that spotlights Coleman in multiple musical formats including performances with Tuatara, the world music combo featuring Peter Buck of R.E.M.
