XFM’s “25” is a documentary series celebrating the 25th anniversary of 12 influential albums. Each month throughout 2011, Ian Camfield looks back at a landmark record released in 1986 and explores its impact at the time – and how it’s viewed today.
The latest episode, focusing on R.E.M.’s Lifes Rich Pageant will be broadcast on XFM London 104.9 and Xfm Manchester 97.7 on Sunday the 29th of May at 10pm, followed by the album played in full. A web version will be available for streaming on the Xfm website shortly afterwards.
