OH-O.K., TIME TOY AND MAGNAPOP SINGER & GUITARIST TO PLAY BREAST CANCER AWARENESS BENEFIT

This Friday (5-29) Little Kings Shuffle Club on Hancock Avenue will showcase rare performances by legendary Athens bands Oh-O.K. (with members of Flash to Bang Time in tow) and Time Toy, as well as Linda Hopper and Ruthie Morris of Atlanta’s sonic powerhouse Magnapop. According to Flash To Bang Time time-keeper and event organizer Charles Greenleaf, the show will benefit Ingrid Schorr, while bringing much-needed awareness to breast cancer, the single-most common cancer in women in the United States: “This promises to be a stellar evening benefiting Ingrid Schorr and raising breast cancer awareness. All in all, not a bad way to spend a summer’s night while championing a great cause.”

An auction featuring the art of Michael Oliveri, Sam Seawright, Laura Levine, Jill Carnes, Andy Cherewick and a host of others as well as collectibles and gifts will also take place. REMHQ has donated a copy of R.E.M. Hello autographed by Michael and David Belisle.
