WEEKEND REPORT: PETER HITS THE ROAD WITH ROBYN AND MORE

Peter returns to the road again next week with Robyn Hitchcock and the Venus 3 with shows in Philadelphia, Annapolis, DC, Boston, Brooklyn, and Manhattan, June 6th-June 11th. The band will also play the Bonnaroo Festival in Manchester, Tennessee, on June 13 (read the HQ interview with Peter in which he discusses his longstanding musical partnership with Robyn Hitchcock here). Ken Stringfellow’s band has a new record out called Smoking Kills. The Disciplines are currently on tour in Europe, and you can check out some of their new songs from Smoking Kills here at their myspace site.

As we reported HERE yesterday, be sure to stop by the benefit for Ingrid Schorr and breast cancer awareness tonight at Little Kings Shuffle Club if you happen to be in Athens. The lineup includes Oh-O.K., Time Toy, and Linda and Ruthie from Magnapop. Live auction and music starts at 10PM.
