R.E.M. RETURNS TO SEATTLE
R.E.M experiences a homecoming of sorts tonight as they return to Seattle to play back-to-back shows over the weekend with support this evening from fellow Athenians, Five-Eight, and Saturday night’s special guest Charlie Mars. Both shows are at Marion Oliver McCaw Hall.

The Minus 5 has released a new EP called At the Organ on Yep Roc Records to tide over fans everywhere until the release of their next full length. According to maestro Scott McCaughey, a number of the EP’s tracks were recorded during the Down With Wilco sessions.
Support has been firmed up for most of the band’s 2005 World Tour. R.E.M will be joined by Joseph Arthur, Brainstorm, Bright Eyes, and The Thrills on various legs of next year’s tour (please see the schedule below for specifics). We will announce opening acts for the UK
