Mike’s “Concerto for Violin, Rock Band and String Orchestra” with Robert McDuffie will be released on October 14 on Orange Mountain. Their tour kicks off on October 20 in Miami, Florida.
News of Mike’s concerto album, CONCERTO FOR VIOLIN, ROCK BAND, AND STRING ORCHESTRA, and upcoming tour with Robert McDuffie and band, the Fifth House Ensemble, has been abuzz of late in the press (we’ve got a round up of the latest articles just below for your reading pleasure) and for good reason…
R.E.M. will be among several acts (including Filthy Friends, Peter Buck’s project with Corin Tucker, Kurt Block, Scott McCaughey, and Bill Rieflin) contributing songs to 30 Days, 30 Songs, an independent website that will release one song per day from October 10 until Election Day.
